Enjoy a day of the web's best speakers discussing the future of information online.
I am proud to announce that Mark Norman Francis will be joining the ranks as a speaker at The Highland Fling 2008. His session will start the day taking a trip down memory lane, looking at all the change that has taken place since before the web and over the years in his session "The browser and before".
Last year, Norm talked us through Yahoo's graded browser support strategy whilst battling a sore throat. He warmed us all up with an insightful introduction into the world of progressive enhancement and browser support, I for one am looking forward to hearing him ease us into a day about the browser and beyond.
Welcome aboard Norm!
Now in its second year, the Highland Fling is an annual one-day conference in Scotland, aimed at web developers and businesses with an interest in web standards and accessibility. More About ›
"Just thought I'd drop a line to say congratulations on the Highland Fling conference, it was absolutely brillaint, learned a lot of stuff there. In fact I filled about 10 notebook pages jammed full of new stuff..."
